While the symptoms overlap, chronic Lyme is characterized by migratory pain (joint pain, muscle pain, nerve pain, tingling, numbness) that moves around the body. Symptoms go up and down with antibiotics (sx w/ AB’s), with Herx reactions immediately after antibiotics and go down after the initial Herx. Symptoms come and go (C+G).
